Interplanetary Pin-Ups

Growing up with pictures of the planets of the Solar System tacked to the classroom wall, you could be forgiven for feeling like you’ve seen Saturn, Jupiter and Mars enough to know what they look like, but these poster prints by artist Ross Berens are really very attractive.

Ross has given these images a retro-futuristic feel, not dissimilar to the aesthetic of Duncan Jones’ movie Moon, that makes them both classic and contemporary and perfectly at home in a world that lacks the fervour for the space-age that it once had.
