Yesterday marked the 3rd Third Wednesdays here at Turquoise, which once again brought together our creative team through their love of pie and design. The responsibility of this months pie fell to one of our new juniors Sadhbh (pronounced Sive. According to her “like five but with an S’), who went the whole 9 yards with both her chicken (with secret Czech mash potato layer) and winter veg pies.

Unlike Charlie last month, Sadhbh wasn’t quite as precise in her presentation. However, considering this was the first pie she had ever made – and only the third pie she had ever eaten!! - she achieved a respectable 8.1 from the group, redeeming herself after our DIY christmas party.

Following on from pie and having recently won a very exciting pitch, instead of delving into the realm of design theory, Greg (who worked on the pitch) ran through the presentation that won the job. We were enthralled throughout and by the end, buzzing with excitement.
