STV Generations was the first television channel in Saudi Arabia made for children between the ages of 7-13. As part of our overall rebrand of the STV network, we were tasked with creating an identity for this brand new channel.

We began by developing the strategic positioning that would enable the channel to become a hub of creativity, entertainment and education for young Saudi’s:

“Energising young minds.”

Children around the globe today are far more comfortable familiar with technology than we ever were as kids, which is why we went down the route of creating a brand mascot as part of the new identity; Rabih – a happy, hovering embodiment of the spirit of the channel: inquisitive, cheeky, fun and energetic.

We produced a set of idents, promos and a dynamic programme packaging system in order to realize an immersive channel brand environment for its viewership to engage with and be entertained by.
