Work» Viszo

CLIENT: Sab Group
PROJECT: Brand creation
Viszo is a joint venture between Intel and the Sab Group. This new global network specialises in large-scale wireless internet access that, unlike many of its competitors, is not limited to the traditional boundaries of wifi ‘hotspots’. Alongside wireless, the company also offers IP based services and content.
We were engaged to create a name for the new brand that was simple, memorable and would work in any language and, crucially, was available as an internet domain name across multiple international territories.
We developed a contemporary and vibrant identity that reflected the visionary nature of the new brand, under the banner of ‘no boundaries’.
The name ‘Viszo’ was arrived at because we felt that it had a suitably international and futuristic feel and could also be pronounced in multiple languages. On top of this, it was also available as a domain name across key territories.
We took the ‘V’ of the name and crafted an arrow-shaped marque out of the negative space in the letterform, pointing downwards to convey that wherever you see the logo; access is available here. The marque was developed to sit comfortably in the world of technical iconography and to evoke the brand’s forward-thinking approach.
To support the launch of the new brand we also developed brand and marketing strategy to work effectively across multiple markets and absorb interest and activity following the initial rollout.
If you’d like to have a chat with us about your brand we’d love to hear from you
