PROJECT: Visual identity
The Saudi Professional League is the main football competition in Saudi Arabia. In 2011 STV sport has, for the first time, exclusive coverage of every match throughout the 2011/12 season.
STV Sport wanted to gain maximum exposure to promote this exciting programme to all their viewers as well as to promote advertising opportunities for media partners.
Our brief was to create a bespoke visual identity for all Saudi Professional League promotions that reflects the excitement and energy that surrounds the event.
The visual identity had to be media-agnostic so it could be implemented through television, print and online communications.
We developed a graphic language that embodies the explosion of passion that erupts both players and fans. Crackling bolts of energy charge across the pitch, embodying the anticipation and excitement surrounding this action-packed sporting season.
