PROJECT: Brand Identity
When a new quad-play telecoms company was created in the UAE it had a challenge on its hands.
It was launching against the nation’s incumbent telecoms provider which had, up until that point, enjoyed an unchallenged monopoly on the market.
We were engaged to develop a completely new brand identity for the company and to develop effective launch strategy to introduce it to the market.
From developing a customer-experience based positioning of ‘du something better’, we created a warm and vibrant, multi-coloured identity that reflected the company’s wide range of products and services and the diverse customer base of the UAE.
We coordinated effectively with du’s marketing team to roll out the new brand for both their corporate and internal communications launch.

The du brand was an immediate success, attracting over a million subscribers within nine months of its launch, being nominated for a Design Week Benchmarks Award and winning Best Brand at the World Telecoms Awards.
