href="http://www.ericfirestonegallery.com/">Eric Firestone</a> and organised by curator <a
href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlo_McCormick" title="Carlo McCormick " target="_blank">Carlo McCormick</a>, The Boneyard Projects debuted with <i><a
href="http://66.147.244.235/~ericfire/?page_id=9">Nose Job</a></i> in the summer of 2011.</p><p><i>Nose Job</i> was an exhibition of nose cones taken from military aeroplanes and given to artists to use as canvases.</p><p>Eric says:</p><p><i>&#8220;The second instalment in this series, Round Trip: Selections from The Boneyard Project, features five monumental works created on military planes by a dynamic selection of popular graffiti and street artists from around the world.&#8221;</i></p><p><em><img

href="http://www.turquoisebranding.com/2011/blogs/05/09/guimaraes-jazz/" target="_blank">they produced for the 2009 festival</a> and I love the set they produced for 2010. They incorporate beautiful hand-drawn type from 23 year old illustrator <a
href="http://www.minwins.com/#756408/About-min" target="_blank">Min</a> alongside a bold and colourful range of Mad Men-esque illustrations.</p><p><img

isPermaLink="false">http://www.turquoisebranding.com/?p=14529</guid> <description><![CDATA[To celebrate Greta's multiple birthdays we decided to make her The Queen of Brixton.]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This week we celebrated the birthday of senior designer Greta.</p><p>Unfortunately, in the hectic run up to Christmas we somehow managed to overlook Greta&#8217;s actual birthday in December and had to wait until she returned to work this week to correct this.</p><p>In effect, we gave her a second birthday and so in coming up with a concept for her birthday card we looked at the precedent for having two birthdays.</p><p>Naturally that brought us to <a
href="http://www.royal.gov.uk/HMTheQueen/HMTheQueen.aspx" title="Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth" target="_blank">Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II</a>, who, as well as <a
href="http://www.royal.gov.uk/HMTheQueen/TheQueensbirthdays.aspx" title="The Queen's birthday's" target="_blank">having two birthdays</a>, is the face on all British currency.</p><p>So, to commemorate Greta&#8217;s birthday we designed and made a wedge of alternative <a
href="http://brixtonpound.org/" title="The Brixton Pound" target="_blank">Brixton Pound</a> note.</p><p><img
