If you’re taking a taxi in Tokyo you can now stay connected to the web whilst stuck in traffic (but only until March). NTT DoCoMo have teamed up with Tokyo Musen to offer free WiFi in a fleet of taxis in order to highlight the wireless broadband services offered by DoCoMo, Japan’s predominant mobile phone operator. In addition to the free WiFi, DoCoMo have also kitted the cars out with Sony PSP’s to entertain the kids as well, although we’re fairly certain that as many adults as children will be making use of those.
