I‚Äôve had a bit of spare time today, so I thought that I would use this opportunity to share with you some more inspiration from the art and design world. This post is dedicated to Andy Gilmore. Andy‚Äôs work has fascinated me for several years; I followed him through my time at university and have used him for inspiration on several of my own projects. ‘Chemical Affinities’ Chemical Affinities by Andy Gilmore His work is a beautiful thing. By using layers of tessellating geometric shapes and carefully selected colour palettes, he creates unique kaleidoscopic patterns that, despite containing many different components, work harmoniously together. I‚Äôm yet to find any interviews with the man himself stating this, but it‚Äôs a nice idea, and I can certainly interpret them in that way myself. ’04-18-2013′ Artwork by Andy Gilmore
